South Coast
Adventure
This is my favourite ever mountain bike ride! Starting
in the South Coast town of Poole, we take the Sandbanks Ferry to
Studland, then slowly climb up onto the chalk hills overlooking the sea,
we follow the ridge to Corfe Castle returning on the lower path before
climbing again to Harry's Rocks. This section is on the top of a ridge,
downhill and surrounded by fantastic sea views on all three sides - its
like flying on a bike! Then on to a "cream tea" in the garden of a pub
with the best views in the area - back downhill to the Sandbanks Ferry
and back to Poole.
The routes can be designed for a slow relaxed look at
the view, or extended for anyone feeling brave and energetic enough!
